Salary and Benefits: This is a full-time, benefited Administrator 2 level position. Starting salary range: $98,743.00 - $111,622.00/annually, depending upon experience.

The Dean, School of Outreach & Workforce Development provides leadership, strategic direction, oversight, and management of community partnerships, select career and trades programming, Adult Basic Education, and customized and professional training. The Dean works collaboratively with internal partners and local and regional stakeholders to ensure the College’s non-credit programs meet the needs of students, business, and industry in the communities LCCC is designed to serve and impact. The Dean is an accomplished leader with previous experience in workforce strategy and solutions, economic development, and a proven track record in building collaborative partnerships to ensure the responsiveness of the College to workforce needs.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS – this position is Exempt , or is not eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA. This listing of essential duties is not all-inclusive but representative. Other duties may be assigned.
The Dean is primarily responsible for all activities related to workforce education and non-credit industry training. The incumbent will provide direct leadership and direction for the College’s professional education programs and create employer relationships beneficial to the College and southeast Wyoming including productive associations with local, regional, and national organizations. The ideal candidate is motivated to join the Academic Leadership Team in delivering programming that is informed by workforce needs and supports economic growth and community enrichment in our service area.

Program Development and Oversight
Ensures LCCC is meeting the educational needs of our students, regional employers, and community members in the delivery of comprehensive non-credit, open enrollment courses and programs in a variety of workforce development and avocational areas. This is accomplished by:

Oversees multiple functions in the School of Outreach & Workforce Development in alignment with the College mission of transformative learning. This is accomplished by:
Budget and Resource Management
Ensures the sustainability of the School through budgetary oversight of all operations including those supported by general funds as well as those identified as auxiliary functions. This is accomplished by:
Collaboration
Serves as LCCC’s primary navigator for workforce and business development concerns. The Dean is highly visible while cultivating, sustaining, and leveraging strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborative partnerships with all members of the Academic Leadership Team as well as other College departments result in activities that advance the mission and strategic goals of the College.
