    This position is only available for LCCC students enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for the Fall 2018 semester. You will need a resume to complete your application.


    Job Summary: 

    This position will be responsible for performing non-instructional and non-assessment duties in the class and lab that support faculty members providing instruction to students enrolled in courses with the Automotive Technology program. Other tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.


     Compensation: $8.92 per hour depending on experience.


    Start Date: As soon as practical after offer is made.

    Essential Functions

    • Performing duties in the class and lab that support faculty members providing instruction to Automotive students
    • Assist instructor with set-up, tear down and storage of materials and equipment
    • Receive and deliver materials, supplies and equipment to include vehicle parts
    • Operate computer using Microsoft Office
    • Receive and direct phone inquiries
    • Process paperwork required for a variety of service related transactions
    • Follow instructions provided by instructors to satisfy the needs of students and customers

    Nonessential Functions:  

    An employee in this position may perform some of these responsibilities on an infrequent basis.

    Perform other tasks that may be assigned based on contemporary institutional needs


     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (e.g., Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
    • Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more
    • Ability to operate/drive a State vehicle

    Physical/Mental Demands: 

    • Lift 50 pounds or more
    • Operate/drive a motor vehicle



    • LCCC student enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours
    • Completed at least 15 credit hours in Automotive or Diesel technology
    • Possess a current driver’s license


    • LCCC Automotive or Diesel Certificate
