Job Summary: Core responsibilities of this position include: Provide quality learning opportunities that assist the student to meet their educational goals and career aspirations in the accredited Surgical Technology program which includes both the Surgical Technology AAS degree and the Central Sterile Processing certificate. Deliver student-centered, hands-on, active instruction in didactic and laboratory courses. Responsible for coordinating and evaluating effectiveness of the clinical affiliate sites to include communicating program requirements, course objectives and academic expectations to the clinical sites. Prepare clinical site rotations for students, and conduct site visits during the affiliation to meet with clinical instructors. Other tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.

The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Laramie County Community College campus or outreach center as assigned. A faculty member performs all other duties as directed by the School Dean, Vice President of Academic Affairs, or the President or designee.
Starting Date: August, 2017.
Compensation: $700 per credit hour.
Must be responsible for organization, administration, continuous review, planning development, and general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the surgical technology program.
