    This position is only available for LCCC students enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for the current semester. 

    Only available for Federal Work Study eligible students.


    Job Summary:


    Reporting to the Residence Life Administrative Assistant, this individual helps the assistant with clerical and customer service tasks at the Residence Hall main office. This includes but is not limited to submitting work orders from students to Physical Plant staff, distributing mail, checking out various items to students, responding to lock-out calls from students, and helping answer phones as needed.



    Start Date: Spring/2019.


    Compensation: $9.12 per/hour, commensurate with experience

    Essential Functions

    • Establish and maintain Residence Life desk operations to address resident needs and concerns
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with both residents and student staff in order to promote on-going communication, mutual support, and respect
    • Encourage student involvement in a positive residence hall community promotingacademic success, social connections, and personal growth
    • Assist with key and furniture inventory tasks, work order requests, equipment check-out, and mail services
    • Provide clerical assistance for Residence Life programs by helping to manage communications with students, coordinating mail and package deliveries, and forwarding mail
    • Post flyers and other information regarding Residence Hall and campus activities



    • Current LCCC student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Spring 2017 semester
    • Federal Work Study eligible
    • Experience working in a customer/client service and support role
    • Intermediate-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications  such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
