     This position is only available for LCCC students enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for the current semester. 



    Job Summary:


    Report to the Residence Life Administrative Assistant, help the assistant with all clerical and customer service at the Residence Hall main office. Including but not limited to, work orders submitted from students turned into the Physical Plant, mail distribution, checking out of various items to students, lock outs for students and help to answer phones.



    Start Date: Fall, 2018.


    Compensation: $9.12. Commensurate with experience.

    Essential Functions

    • Establish and maintain Residence Life desk operations to address resident needs and concerns
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with both residents and student staff that promote on-going communication, mutual support and respect
    • Encourage student involvement in a positive residence hall community, which promotes academic success, social connections and personal growth for all
    • Help with key and furniture inventory, work order requests, equipment check out and mail services
    • Provide clerical assistance of the Residence Life programs, help manage communications with students, coordinate mail and package deliveries and forwarding mail. Post flyers and other information regarding Residence Hall and campus information



    • Current LCCC student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours forthe current semester
    • Experience working in a customer/client service and support role and demonstrable intermediate-level contemporary working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, etc.
