    This is a part-time, temporary position. There are multiple positions available under this listing. 

     

    Job Summary:

    Represent Laramie County Community College in a professional manner. Observe the swimmers to maintain order and safety.  Communicate and enforce facility and safety rules.   Communicate with the responsible individual or individuals from the group to provide competent and courteous service.  Provide appropriate and available equipment.  


    If necessary, performs aquatic rescue procedure.  Contact the appropriate level of support required for issues or incidents.  Report incidents to the PE Facility Manager and the Facilities and Events Program Manager. 

    Unlock and re-lock facilities per schedule provided by the Facilities & Events office.  Monitor locker rooms.

    Maintain up-to-date skills and certification.  Obtain training from the Athletic and Campus Recreation, PE Facility Manager.

     

    Compensation: $10.51, commensurate with experience.

     

    Screening Date: Open until filled.

     

    Start Date: As needed based on events and facilities schedule.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    At least 16 years of age

    Current Lifeguard Certification
    At least 3 months experience as a certified life guard

     

    Preferred:

    Experience as a Laramie County Community College lifeguard

    Current LCCC student preferred
