The Instructor, Manufacturing is a full-time benefited position and will share his or her talents with our next generation of workers. The instructor will provide training in introduction, intermediate and advanced levels of machining as well as industrial robots. Job Summary: Core responsibilities of this position include:
The Student Success Coach will be a student’s success champion and is responsible for helping students throughout their journey at Laramie County Community College; from initial interest in college, guiding through the enrollment steps, identifying their individual educational and career goals, career exploration, supporting students with program requirements, to graduation (or completion of student’s goals).
The Student Success Coach will serve as a guide and facilitator for; academic, career, and personal success, connecting students to support services and resources on and off campus, assisting students with goal-setting and developing individual academic success plans, working with students to overcome academic challenges and other barriers which interfere with their progress toward graduation, and increasing academic engagement of students to help them successfully navigate college life.

JOB SUMMARY
Core responsibilities of this position include: The Respiratory Therapy Clinical Coordinator of LCCC's Respiratory Therapy Program is a full-time benefited Category C Faculty position responsible for program instruction, curriculum development, overall coordination of clinical instruction and clinical rotations for the Respiratory Therapy Program. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: develop clinical site contacts; understand and communicate the program's clinical needs to all stakeholders; coordinate; plan, and communicate the clinical schedules each semester; troubleshoot and resolve barriers or conflicts that occur with clinical sites; assist with tracking student clinical progress; conduct clinical site visits, and report the overall status for the areas of responsibility to the Program Director. In addition, this position will instruct and develop and curriculum that is student-centered, hands-on, with active instruction in didactic and laboratory courses to meet the standards of the College, state regulatory, and national accreditation requirements. This position participates in recruitment, retention, and advising of students and comprehensive program assessment. The essential functions of this position require the ability to work a variable work schedule including day, evening, and weekend courses, which may be located on campus and clinical sites as assigned.

Laramie County Community College is dedicated to student success and aspires to develop world-class community college faculty. The College’s instructional faculty positions have the primary responsibilities of teaching assigned courses, being available for students, and collaborating on departmental objectives when applicable. In addition, all faculty work in alignment with the College’s mission, vision, and values to continuously improve as professional educators and experts in their field. Faculty further serve the College in collaborative and collegial relationships across the institution. LCCC supports adjunct faculty by providing an environment conducive to excellent teaching and learning, classroom equipment and supplies, and resources to meet the challenges that arise in the course of teaching.
Prudent utilization of LCCC’s resources is a prime responsibility of LCCC’s administration. Therefore, the college reserves the right to change course assignments if needed. Full-time faculty member with less than a full load may be assigned to teach a course that was originally assigned to an adjunct instructor. All changes in teaching assignments will be made prior to the first class meeting. The position of Adjunct Instructor is part-time, non-benefitted, and employed on a course-by-course basis without any obligation or promise of continued future employment and are provided competitive compensation.
LCCC provides a number of resources to its adjunct faculty. Support systems are in place to assist all faculty in supporting student success through excellent instruction. These supports are outlined in detail in the LCCC Faculty Handbook, which serves as a vital and current reference to policies and procedures that impact expectations of all faculty of the College. All LCCC faculty are supported by the Faculty Academy within the Center for Excellence in Teaching.
Adjunct faculty must notify the dean of the school in which they teach if they are employed in another position at LCCC.

Compensation: $850 per credit hour.
